Electric vehicles are gaining popularity worldwide and in India. As Bikes are the most commonly used vehicles in Cities and rural ares, electrification of two wheelers is a major step towards the reduction atmospheric pollution in India. 

In this article you can find 10 upcoming Electric bikes in India.

HERO AE 47

Hero AE 47 is one of the upcoming affordable electric bike from the top brand HERO. Hero AE 47 has stylish and sporty design that compete with every bikes in this segment and will have range of 160 KM on single charge. 4000 W wheels hub motor is used and wheels have disc brakes which gives more stability.

Top speed speed is around 100 kmph and has mono-shock suspension along with all modern features like LED speedometer display etc. Expected price is under 1 lakhs.

ULTRAVIOLETTE F77

F77 is an electric performance bike from Ultraviolette Automotive. 2500 W AC motor is used and produces 33 ps power and a torque of 90 Nm. It can go from 0-60 kmph in 3 seconds and 0- 100 kmph in 7.5 seconds. Top speed offered by the bike is 150 kmph. 

On a single charge, this bike can offer you a range of 130-150 KM and battery charging can be done in 1.5 to 5 hours. Expected price is around 3 lakhs.

EVOLET HAWK

The Hawk, when launched, will be the first faired entry-level electric motorcycle to be sold in India. It gets features like clip on handlebars, projector headlamps and a digital instrument console. The Evolet Hawk claims a top speed of 80 kmph, with a claimed range of 150 km on a single charge. Evolet claims that the Hawk's Lithium-ion battery pack can be charged in 5 hours.

Expected price is around 1.25 lakhs.

REVOLT RV CAFE RACER

Revolt RV Cafe Racer is another electric bike addition from Revolt family which earlier launched Revolt 400. 3000 W wheel hub motor is used in this new cafe racer model which is same as in revolt 400. Expected range is 150 KM on single charge and full charging takes 3.5 hours. Top speed is around 85 kmph.

Price expected is under 1.5 lakhs.

TORK T6X

Tork  T6X is an electric performance motorcycle built on 7 years of research and development. It gives a top speed of 100 kmph and can run 100 km on single charge. It has a fast charge system that can charge 80% of battery in less than one hour.

Speedometer is TFT 4.3 inch display and has cloud connecting system. Expected price is under 1.5 lakhs.

ORXA MANTIS

Orxa Mantis is an electric performance bike from Orxa Energies Bangalore. They have used 2500 W electric motor which gives a top speed of 140 kmph. They are offering 200 KM range on single charge and takes 3.5 hour to charge the battery 100%. 

This bike can cruise from 0-100 km in 8 seconds. And consist of 9 kWh battery stacked as 6 battery packs that weighs 65 kg. Also includes features like double disc brakes, Digital meter console etc. Expected price is around 3 lakhs.

EMFLUX ONE

Emflux one is a premium segment electric sports bike which can go from 0 - 100 kmph in 3 seconds. It Produces a power of 72 ps and a torque of 84 Nm at 8400 rpm. Top speed is 200 km and is offering a range of 200 KM on single charge and can be charged to 100% in less than one hour. 

Kerb weight is 169 kg and as it is a premium segment bike, expected price is 5.5 lakhs.

EEVE TESORO

Eeve Toloso is an electric bike unveiled in Auto Expo 2020 India. The vehicle is powered by wheel hub BLDC Motor from Bosch and has a top speed of 100 kmph. It offers a range of 120 km on single charge and can be charged in 3 - 4 hours. 

Expected price is under 1 lakh.

HARLEY-DAVIDSON LIVEWIRE

Harley-Davidson LiveWire is an electric motorcycle by Harley-Davidson, their first electric vehicle. Harley-Davidson says the maximum speed is 152 km and can go 0-100 km in 3.5 seconds with claimed 105 hp motor. The LiveWire targets a different type of customer than their classic V-twin powered motorcycles. 

The bike produces 103 ps Power and 116 Nm torque. It can go 177 KM on single charge and can be charged up to 80% in one hour.  Expected price is around 50 lakhs.

EMOTE ELECTRIC SURGE

Emote Surge is an electric bike showcased at Auto Expo 2020 in India. It is an unconventionally-styled electric motorcycle - something between a naked street fighter and a fully-faired motorcycle with four speed transmission. Emote surge has a top speed of 120 kmph and produce 28 Nm torque.

Emote surge has 2.88 kWh battery and will take you 100 KM on single charge with an option of increasing range by additional batteries. Battery takes around 4 hour to charge 100% but has a fast charging option that will let you charge within half an hour. Price is not disclosed.
